Notes for March 25-29, 2013
“I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10
Dear Parents,
As we enter into this week leading up to our Savior’s death and His resurrection, I pray that you will truly celebrate this great gift of eternal life! I am so excited to hear YOUR children share their heart and spiritual depth of understanding of the events leading up to Christ's death. My prayer is that they will continue to become more and more rooted in their love for Jesus!
Here are just a few things to keep in mind during this four-day week:
We will have an Easter chapel on Tuesday at 9:00am. We will also be saying farewell to Pastor Leo and Elma, as they prepare to leave Zeeland and head back to Manilla. You are welcome to attend this special Easter service!
March Is Reading Month: HAT DAY will be this week Thursday to celebrate the Ecuadorian culture! We will also be culminating our March Is Reading Month focus by decorating our classroom door in an elementary contest! Students will be depicting a book we have read and decorating our door to resemble key elements from the book!
The auction is coming up soon after break on April 12. If you would like to contribute to our class “coffee/chocolate” themed basket, please send $2-3 to school and give it to either Ty or Abby Dykhouse by Thursday. Thank you for your support for our SCH classes!
